So since this is a public blog and I don't want the world knowing who my kids are, I have decided to rename my kids for the blog. I have a lot so try to keep up!
From here on out I will now refer to my oldest, a boy, as GQ. He is 13 and is pretty sure he is the coolest kid that has EVER existed! I haven't popped his bubble yet, but the day will come. Oh the day will DEFINITELY come!
Number two, also a boy, is Brainy Smurf or Brainy for short. He is 12 and knows more useless information than even his dad, which is saying a lot! His idea of a perfect day is watching Discovery Channel, History Channel, or anything else that has to do with history or science. He has told me so much about how scientists have discovered how the earth was created that my head is coming close to exploding just thinking about, but I love hims so I listen
Number three, a girl, is Smurfette. She is 8 going on 18 and knows it all. She is full of life and defines DRAMA!! Can't wait until she's a teenager, NOT!
Number four, another girl, is Angelina Ballerina (Angelina). She is 5, loves to dance, play dress up, wear dresses, oh and did I mention she LOVES to dance?!
Number five, girl number three, is Dora. She is 3 and full of questions. She loves Dora the Explorer, outwitting Angelina, and bouncing off the walls.
And last but certainly not least is number 6, my last boy, who I will call Taz. He is 1-1/2 and his nickname says it all. I can't keep up with him. It's like someone put the energizer bunny in him and broke the off button, at least at home, he's VERY shy in public. I love it! He's just so dang cute and squishy!
Hubs is the comic relief in the house. He can be serious, just not very often. I am the boss and he is the enforcer. When I make him be. Really, he would like to be just one of the kids, but I make him be a grown up and he complies because he loves me. He keeps me sane and grounded. Without him, I would have ended up at the funny farm years ago. I love him!!
And then there's me. How to define me... Well I want to be laid back, easy going, and funny. In reality I am usually uptight, stressed out, and crazy. I blame it on the people I described above. It's all their fault. One day when they all grow up and blame me for all of their psychiatric problems, I will in turn blame then for all of mine, lol!
All in all we work. Our house is full of life and lots of love. Never a dull moment with six kids around. If you ever need a comic relief, spend five minutes at our house. It's also GREAT birth control!! Every time one of my friends talks about wanting a kid, I loan out a couple of mine for a few hours and they're cured. Hey, what can I say, I like to help others. I also like a break once in a while so it's a win win.
